11/18/08 - Well, at least Boston can say it got something this year.
As conceived by Ben at 5:30:00 PMBoston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia (generously listed at 5'9'' and 180 pounds) was named the winner of the 2008 American League Most Valuable Player award today. Another World Series would have been better, but hey, I'm not greedy. Two in four years is great, and you can't do much better than being the MVP as an individual. Congratulations Dustin. Hopefully your success will rub off on the Packers, Red Wings, and Knicks (well, at least the Packers and Red Wings =P).
